Project New Step Foundation to Launch Sneaker Distribution with Three Inspiring Youth Organizations

May 2025 – Hobe Sound, FL — Project New Step Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce its first major initiative in serving at risk youth: the organization will begin distributing free, brand-new sneakers to children through three impactful community organizations—Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County, Banner Lake Club of Hobe Sound, and the Children’s Aid Society of New York City – Dunlevy Milbank Community Center.

These three youth-focused organizations have long stood at the forefront of nurturing, educating, and supporting children in need. Starting in Fall 2025, Project New Step Foundation will provide sneakers to children across Martin County, Florida, South Florida and Metro New York who need more proper footwear—essential not only for health and safety, but also for self-confidence and participation in everyday school and recreational activities.

Through generous donor support and strategic partnerships with world-renowned sneaker brands, including Nike and Adidas, the foundation is committed to providing children with sneakers at no cost that are high quality, comfortable, and empowering.

“Increasing children’s self-worth and self-confidence are among the two biggest indicators of our success,” said Keith Fletcher, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. “This initiative by Project New Step is more than just a gift of sneakers—it’s a gift of dignity, belonging, and possibility.”

Each pair of sneakers distributed is a step toward improved physical health, greater participation in sports and activities, and a boost in personal pride—benefits that can transform the everyday experience of a young person.

The Foundation’s mission is clear: help kids step forward with confidence, one pair of sneakers at a time.
