“As a coach, I see firsthand how confidence affects performance, energy, and self-belief. Project New Step Foundation understands that helping children feel good about themselves matters. Proper footwear gives kids the ability to participate comfortably, safely, and proudly — and that changes how they carry themselves everyday.”

Our Work
Project New Step Foundation works with schools, community centers, and other organizations in Martin County, Florida, South Florida & Metro New York City to distribute sneakers to children in need.
We carefully select high-quality sneakers to ensure that they provide both comfort and durability, making sure that every child receives a pair that will last.
Through our partnerships, we not only deliver sneakers to kids but also provide educational resources & conduct basketball clinics for kids enjoyment and recreational purposes.
Why Sneakers Matter
Proper footwear is essential for a child’s health. Ill-fitting or worn-out shoes can cause discomfort, injuries, and long-term health problems. By providing new sneakers, we help ensure that children’s feet grow properly and that they are safe from potential injuries.
A new pair of sneakers can have a positive impact on a child’s confidence. Wearing sneakers that fit properly and look good helps children feel good about themselves, allowing them to walk into any situation with pride and assurance.
Sneakers are necessary for physical activity. Without them, many children miss out on sports, gym class, and outdoor play, which are crucial for their physical and emotional development. Providing sneakers helps children participate in activities that promote fitness, teamwork, and social skills.
