Carolyn Binder-Carolyn works as a Senior Business Development Manager at Amazon and lives in New York City. She has spent the last 8+ years working in the tech industry, previously at BuzzFeed and Google. Carolyn has shared her love of basketball, as she played 5 years of varsity basketball at Rye Country Day School where she was a 3-year captain, won two state championships, and holds the school record for the most points scored (2,000+) and assists (700+) in school history, male or female. She was nominated for the McDonald’s All-American Team. Carolyn then went on to play Division I basketball at Columbia University where she earned 4x Ivy League Rookie of the Week and 3x Honor Roll. Post college, she went on to play professional basketball in Dublin, Ireland for the Trinity Meteors, where her team won the National Championship, and also earned her master’s degree from Trinity College Dublin Business School, one of the most prestigious universities in Europe, and graduated Cum Laude. Carolyn has continued to stay involved in the basketball community in New York City, where she currently volunteers with coaching the Dalton High School Girl’s Basketball Team, where they won the 2025 New York State Private High School Championship.
