Project New Step Foundation Hosts Basketball Clinics

The Project New Step Foundation proudly wrapped up an exciting and impactful day of free basketball clinics held in coordination with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County — and all three sessions were filled to capacity.

Elementary, middle, and high school–aged participants each had their own dedicated clinic, ensuring age-appropriate instruction and maximum engagement. Throughout the day, players rotated through structured skills and drills, learned new techniques, competed in scrimmages, and most importantly, had fun in a positive and energetic environment.

The clinics focused not only on basketball fundamentals, but also on teamwork, communication, and confidence-building. Players were encouraged to challenge themselves, support one another, and grow both on and off the court.

Every participant received a basketball clinic jersey, a team sack, basketball accessories, and of course — a little candy to cap off a great day.

Professional basketball skills trainer and Founder of Project New Step Foundation, Steven Binder, led the initiative, continuing the organization’s commitment to grassroots programming in communities where children and young adults benefit most from mentorship, opportunity, and access.

Project New Step Foundation, known for providing free sneakers to children in communities of need, continues to expand its impact through free basketball clinics that combine education, athletics, and encouragement.
